2020 Retreat Series

Once again in 2020 we plan to host our Retreat Series, that has been so well received in the past. As with supply chains, we have needed to adapt to the Coronavirus situation, and our planned dates for these events have thus been shifted back in the year. During this time, we are also working on content that will help us all to learn from this situation and to strengthen the immunity of our operations for future shocks.

The 2020 Series will be conducted in six (6) locations: Sydney, Singapore, Cape Town, Hamburg, Amsterdam and West Coast USA.

In Sydney, we will cover a wide range of supply chain topics in three (3) monthly sessions, between August and October ’20.  These are offered as a program or as stand-alone sessions for those with a particular area of interest.

For the other five (5) global  locations, we plan to hold special 1-day Retreats in Singapore, Cape Town, Hamburg, Amsterdam and San Jose.

The format in all locations will be by-invitation-only, small-group, content-rich, and  highly interactive. Each day will be followed by a private networking dinner in the evening.

The focus of all Retreats will be on how to transform enterprise supply chains to meet the changing operating environment.

We plan to go deep into the topics of the day, including but not limited to: digitisation; and digital transformation; omni-channels; sustainable supply chains and the ‘license to operate’ and, of course, risk mitigation and resilience for volatile/disruptive operating environments. We will also be introducing and updating GA’s innovative frameworks for understanding the core drivers that underpin all supply chains.

If you are interested in receiving an invitation, please contact Dr John Gattorna or Ms Deborah Ellis.
